This image shows the Mountaineer football team playing a game at Conrad Stadium, built 1962, at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in the 1970s. The audience can be seen sitting on bleachers in the background. William J. Conrad Stadium was rebuilt in 1979 and renamed Kidd-Brewer Stadium in 1988.
