This image shows students standing around a patch of grass in Sanford Mall between Plemmons Student Union, built 1967, and Welborn Cafeteria, built 1925, watching events held during the Anti-Suitcase College Weekend sponsored by the Student Government Association at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in August 1977. Tents are set up in the background, and the words on the grass read, "Bourbon Street."
