This image shows students sitting on the ground in the shade beside Dauph-Blan Hall, built 1929 and later known as Watauga Hall, at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in June 1977. Sanford Mall, Plemmons Student Union, built 1967, Sanford Hall, built 1969, and a volleyball net can be seen in the background. Two students are seen playing instruments while one student sits in a wheelchair watching.
