Football Game, circa 1962, photo 2

This image shows a Mountaineer football game against an unidentified team at Conrad Stadium, built 1962, at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in the 1960s. Cheerleaders can be seen performing in front of the stands on the right. Conrad Stadium was located on the southern end of campus, and was renamed Kidd-Brewer Stadium in 1988. An audience can be seen sitting in the background and on the right.
