This image shows a bus transporting the marching band in the Homecoming parade at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in 1968. Band members can be seen playing instruments through the windows. The B. B. Dougherty Administration Building, built 1968, is in the background. Homecoming was an annual event at Appalachian State Teachers College, including plays, a parade, a dance, a football game, reunion activities, and the crowning of the Homecoming queen.
