This image shows a man handing a box to a woman during a meeting of the Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) Alumni Association at Hickory, NC, in May 5, 1967. Other attendees can be seen sitting at tables on the left. The Alumni Association started in 1934 and met at least once a year during Homecoming for reunions, association business, and officer elections. The man presenting the box is Mr. Bob Snead, Vice President for Development and Public Affairs.
