Description

This image shows the marching band and Appalachian State mascot Yosef walking in the Homecoming parade at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in 1968. Yosef can be seen walking in the foreground carrying a rifle. The I. G. Greer Hall, built 1950, is in the background. Homecoming was an annual event at Appalachian State Teachers College, including plays, a parade, a dance, a football game, reunion activities, and the crowning of the Homecoming queen.
