This image shows David Barnard Dougherty speaking with a man outside the second Administration Building, built 1924, at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in the early 1960s. Dougherty served as business manager from 1938 to 1955, and as vice-president of the College from 1955 until 1965. Two men can be seen walking in the background.
