The acoustically coupled modem and a metal ashtray can be seen on the right. The Department of Mathematic Sciences offers a Bachelor of Science degree program with concentrations in applied mathematics, general mathematics, mathematics education, and statistics. The graduate program leads to Master of Science degrees in mathematics or mathematics education with teacher certification.
