Title

Campus Police, parking enforcement, photo 4

Description

This image shows a member of Campus Police using a jack to lift up a car with a flat tired in one of the campus parking lots at Appalachian State University (1967-current). Campus police took responsibility for campus safety and parking enforcement for the main Appalachian State campus, University Water Systems, State Farm, and Camp Broadstone. Because of limited parking options on and off campus, student parking violations was one of the most visible of Campus Police services. This image appears in the 1987 Rhododendron (p. 35).
