This image shows two students putting on a fashion show for a textile course in the Department of Home Economics in the College of Fine and Applied Arts at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in May 1980. Two women are posing in dress suits. Clothing can be seen scattered in the foreground. The Department of Home Economics is now the Family and Consumer Sciences Department and provides graduate and undergraduate programs in child development, nutrition, apparel and textiles, and family and consumer sciences.
