Description

This image shows students sitting around a table during a class in the Department of Home Economics in the College of Fine and Applied Arts at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in 1985-86. The Department of Home Economics, located in in L. S. Dougherty Hall, built 1962, is now the Family and Consumer Sciences Department and provides graduate and undergraduate programs in child development, nutrition, apparel and textiles, and family and consumer sciences. This image appears in the 1986 Rhododendron (p. 255).
