Geography, display, 1986

This image shows a display in Rankin Science Hall, built 1963, by the Department of Geography and Community Planning at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in 1986-87. The display includes a collection of specimens, maps, and books. The Department of Geography and Community Planning offers BA degrees in Geography and BS degrees in Community Planning, with courses in geographic techniques, quantitative methods, urban and political geography, land use, and regional planning. This image appears in the 1987 Rhododendron (p. 124).
