Description

This image shows five partipants of Project Tipit in the Educational Media program at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in February 1973. The Department of Educational Media was within the College of Learning and Human Development, and was designed for students intending to enter the professions of librarianship or media specialists for school media centers. Library Science coursework has been available at Appalachian State since 1937 and certified since 1942. The Library Science program is currently within the Department of Leadership and Educational Studies in the Reich College of Education.
