This image shows a student sitting on a table holding a microphone for a television project for a class in the Department of Communication at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in the 1980s. Another student is seen adjusting a video camera on the left. The Department of Communication is in College of Fine and Applied Arts and includes majors in Advertising, Communication Studies, Electronic Media and Broadcasting, Journalism, and Public Relations. It also contains the student-run radio station WASU.
