Description

This image shows a student showing a series of paintings to a man in an art class taught in the College of Fine and Applied Arts at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in 1985-86. The Department of Art includes programs for commercial artists, art teachers, art historians, and graphic designers. Exhibits of student and faculty work are shown in Wey Hall, built 1976, the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts, and the Catherine Smith Gallery. This image appears in the 1986 Rhododendron (p. 252).
